1. GETTING STARTED

How do I create a NestMates account?

Go to https://app.nestmates.in/register. Enter your full name, email, city, 6-digit pincode, 10-digit mobile number (India only, +91), and password. Tap Sign Up. You'll be redirected to the login page.

How do I log in?

Go to https://app.nestmates.in/login. Enter your registered email and password, or tap Sign in with Google. After login, you land on your SnapCheck dashboard.

What is Google Sign-In?

You can sign in using your Google account instead of email/password. Tap Sign in with Google on the login page.

I forgot my password. What do I do?

On the login page, tap Forgot Password. Enter your registered email. You'll receive a reset link. If you don't see it, check spam.

Why do I need to enter city, pincode, and mobile?

These are required for GPS reminders, pincode-based features, and to reach you if needed. Some features (like RemindME) won't work without them.

How do I complete my profile?

On SnapCheck, tap Complete Profile. Enter your city, mobile number, and pincode. You can edit these later via the same button.

How do I upload a profile picture?

On SnapCheck, tap Photo (or your existing picture). Choose an image, crop it (2:1 aspect ratio), and save.

How do I delete my profile picture?

On SnapCheck, tap Delete below your picture.

What is the 30-day free trial?

All new users get a 30-day free trial with full access to Individual or Family features. No credit card required. After 30 days, subscribe to keep premium features.

What is the subscription status shown on my dashboard?

You'll see Trial or Subscription with the active-until date and days remaining. It updates automatically.

How do I log out?

Tap Logout on the top-right of SnapCheck or RemindME.

2. SNAPCHECK (HOME DASHBOARD)

What is SnapCheck?

SnapCheck is your home dashboard — a one-screen summary of today's nutrition, water, mood, fitness, reminders, and family activity.

What does the Today's Nutrition table show?

It shows your intake vs target for 18 nutrients: Calories, Protein, Carbohydrates, Fat, Fiber, Sodium, Sugar, Saturated Fat, Trans Fat, Calcium, Iron, Potassium, Magnesium, Zinc, Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Vitamin K.

What does the Today's Water table show?

Total water consumed today (in ml and glasses) vs your daily target.

What is shown in Today's Mood?

A brief summary — your rating, feeling, and exercise minutes if logged today.

What is shown in Today's Fitness?

A brief summary — BP, weight, BMI, and fasting glucose if logged today.

What is "Calories Burnt Today"?

Two parts: Manual activities you logged (jogging, cycling, gym, etc.) plus Step counter calories (steps × 0.04 kcal).

What are Today's Reminders?

Any time-based reminders scheduled for today, sorted by priority. A ✓ means completed, ⏳ means pending.

What is Family Announcements?

Messages posted by family members in your family group. Shows title, description, and time if set.

What are Pending Bills / Pending Tasks?

Unpaid bills and incomplete tasks from your Family Lounge.

What are GPS Location Reminders / GPS Reminder from Family?

Location-triggered reminders — you or a family member set a trigger (e.g., arriving at a specific place). You'll be notified when you enter or exit that zone.

How often does SnapCheck refresh?

Nutrition, water, mood, and fitness refresh when you open or pull-to-refresh. Steps and activity refresh every 60 seconds in the background.

How do I refresh the dashboard?

Tap Refresh on desktop, or swipe down to refresh on mobile.

3. LIFELOGS

What is LifeLogs?

LifeLogs is your daily tracking hub with four tabs: Food, Water, Mood, Fitness. Each tab opens its own dedicated log.

How do I switch between logs?

Tap Food, Water, Mood, or Fitness at the top of LifeLogs.

How do I sync / refresh my logs?

Two buttons at the top:

Sync All — pulls all entries for the selected date range

Sync Today — pulls only today's entries

How do I export my data?

Set the from and to date, then tap Download CSV. Premium feature.

3.1 FOOD LOGS

How do I search for a food's nutritional value?

Scroll to Know About Your Food. Type the food name, tap Search. You'll see calories, protein, carbs, fat, fiber, sodium, sugar, magnesium, potassium, iron, zinc, calcium, and 6 vitamins — either per 100g or per piece.

What if the food isn't in the database?

Tap Request Missing Food. This opens an email to [email protected] with the food name pre-filled. We'll add it to the database.

How do I add a food entry?

In the Add Food form:

Enter Meal Type (Breakfast, Lunch, Snack, Dinner, etc.)

Add one or more food items: name, quantity (with +/- spinner), unit (piece / g / kg / bowl / plate / katori / cup / glass / tbsp / tsp / ml), and optional weight per unit

Pick the date

Tap Add Food

How do I add multiple foods in one entry?

Tap Add Another Item. Each item can have its own quantity and unit.

How do I remove a food item from the form?

Tap ✕ next to that item.

How do I delete a saved food entry?

Scroll to Recent Food Entries, tap Delete on the entry.

What units can I use?

piece, grams, kg, bowl, plate, katori, cup, glass, tablespoon, teaspoon, ml.

What does weight per unit mean?

If you enter a custom weight, the app multiplies quantity × weight to compute total grams for accurate nutrition values. Optional — the app auto-fills for known foods.

How many foods can I log on Free plan?

2 foods per day. Upgrade to Premium for unlimited.

What is the Calories Burnt section?

Log manual activities (jogging, running, cycling, gym, swimming, yoga, dancing, sports, climbing, skipping, steps) with duration. The app calculates calories burnt based on activity type and duration.

What is the step counter?

On Android: auto-tracked steps from your device. On Web/Desktop: enter steps manually. Calories = steps × 0.04.

What does the Today's Nutrition table show?

Your total intake today vs your daily target for 18 nutrients. Red header means it's the totals section.

How do I set my daily nutrition targets?

Two ways:

Manual — in the Set Daily Targets section, enter each target value manually

Automatic — tap Know Your Daily Target, enter gender / age / weight / activity level / pregnancy status (for females), tap Calculate. Review the recommended targets, tap Apply All Targets

What is "Remaining Calories"?

It's Target − (Eaten − Burnt). It shows how many calories you can still eat today.

What is "About Nutrition Goals"?

A link to a Google Doc explaining the ICMR-based guidelines used for targets.

3.2 WATER LOGS

How do I add a water entry?

In the Add Water form, enter number of glasses, pick the date, tap Add Water. 1 glass = 225 ml.

What is the daily water target?

Shown as glasses and ml. Default is 10 glasses. Tap Know Your Target to calculate it based on gender, age, weight, activity, city/region, and pregnancy status.

How is the water target calculated?

Base (age + gender) + Activity + Climate + Weight formula. Climate adjustments use latitude:

Tropical (below 23.5°) → +400 ml

Subtropical (23.5°–35°) → +750 ml

Temperate/Cold → +0 ml

How do I change my water target manually?

Use the +/- buttons or the number input in the Set Water Target section (range 1–20 glasses).

How do I edit or delete a water entry?

Scroll to All Water Entries, tap Edit or Delete.

Are water entries separate from water target?

Yes. Target is your daily goal, entries are your actual intake.

3.3 MOOD LOGS

What does Mood Log track?

Wake-up time, bed time, today's rating (1–10), morning energy (1–5), evening energy (1–5), feeling (Happy / Sad / Energetic / Tired / Stressed / Calm), life lesson, exercise minutes, focus level (1–5), meditation (0–5).

How do I add a mood entry?

Fill the form and tap Add Mood. Today's entry is auto-loaded if one exists.

How do I edit today's entry?

Change any field and tap Update Mood.

How do I delete an entry?

Scroll to All Mood Entries, tap Delete.

3.4 FITNESS LOGS

What does Fitness Log track?

Blood pressure (systolic/diastolic), heart rate, SpO₂, body temperature, respiratory rate, weight, height (feet + inches), BMI (auto-calculated), waist, sleep quality, sleep hours, activity steps, uric acid, vitamin D, vitamin B12, fasting glucose, HbA1c.

How is BMI calculated?

Weight (kg) ÷ height (m)². Auto-filled when you enter weight and height.

What if I only know height in cm?

Enter feet + inches; the app stores both inches and cm.

How do I edit today's entry?

Today's values auto-load. Change any field and tap Save. Old entry is deleted and re-created with new values.

How do I filter entries?

Use the From / To date pickers.

How do I export?

Tap Download CSV. Premium feature.

Is Fitness Log available on the Free plan?

No. Premium only.

3.5 TEST RESULTS

How do I upload a lab report?

Scroll to Uploaded Files, tap Upload File, choose a PDF or image. The app stores it and prepares it for OCR.

What is OCR?

OCR reads test names and values from your uploaded report. Tap Process OCR on a file. Review the extracted values, add Verified By (your name), then tap Save All.

Can I edit OCR values before saving?

Yes. Each row is editable — test name, value, unit, reference range, flag (High/Low/Normal), verified by. You can also add missing rows.

Why do I need to verify OCR results?

OCR can misread. You must confirm each value against the original report. NestMates is not responsible for incorrect OCR extraction.

How do I add a test result manually?

Use the Add New form: enter test name, value, unit, reference range, flag. Tap Save.

How do I download results?

Download All (OCR) — all OCR-verified results

Download All (Manual) — all manually entered results

Date-range download — filter by created/log date

All CSV downloads are premium.

How do I delete a test result or uploaded file?

Tap Delete next to the item.

Is test result data secure?

Yes — stored on secure servers, visible only to you.

4. REMINDME

What is RemindME?

RemindME handles two types of reminders: Time reminders (specific date and time) and GPS reminders (triggered by entering or leaving a location).

What details do I need for a time reminder?

Title, category, date, time, repeat pattern, priority. Priority is High by default.

What categories can I use?

Work, Healthcare, Medicine, Grocery, Household, Bills, Banking, Occasions, Fitness, Pet, Personal, Others, Family.

What repeat patterns are available?

Once, Daily, Weekly, Monthly.

How do I add a reminder?

Fill the form in Add New Reminder, tap Add. The reminder appears in Today's High Priority if scheduled for today, or Pending High Priority (grouped by month) if scheduled for later.

Can I add a past date/time?

No. The app blocks past dates.

How do I complete a reminder?

Tap Complete. It moves to the completed state.

How do I delete a reminder?

Tap Delete. It removes from the list.

What are GPS reminders?

Reminders triggered when you enter or exit a specific location. Set the location (search via Google Maps), radius (100–5000m), and trigger (Enter or Exit). You'll be notified when you enter or leave the zone.

Does GPS reminders work when the app is closed?

Yes. Background location is used to detect geofence events even when the app is closed.

How do I turn off background location?

Go to your device settings → Location → NestMates → disable Background location.

Can family members send me reminders?

Yes. Family reminders appear under Reminder from Family on SnapCheck and in the Family Lounge.

Free plan limit for reminders?

1 upcoming reminder. Premium for unlimited.

Do I need to complete my profile to use RemindME?

Yes. City, pincode, and mobile are required. If missing, you'll be redirected to SnapCheck to complete the profile.

5. FAMILY LOUNGE

What is Family Lounge?

A shared space for your family group — announcements, reminders, bills, tasks, documents, chat, and a photo showcase. Requires the Family Plan (₹599/month + GST) or the trial.

How do I create a family group?

Open Family Lounge. If you're on the Family Plan and have no group yet, tap Create Group. Follow the steps to set a group name and invite members.

How do I join a family?

You'll receive a WhatsApp invite with a link like app.nestmates.in/join-family?token=.... Tap the link, log in (or register), and you'll join the group.

How many members can I have?

4 members on Family Plan. Extra members cost ₹99/month + GST each.

How do I add an extra member?

Tap Add Extra Member (visible if you already have 4). Pay ₹99 + GST. A unique invite link is generated. Share it with the new member.

How do I invite a member via WhatsApp?

Enter their mobile number (with country code) and tap Invite via WhatsApp. The invite link opens in WhatsApp for you to send.

How do I remove a member?

Admin only. Tap the ✕ on the member's picture. Confirm.

What is the family showcase?

A 5-photo collage with a background image or color and a family slogan. Upload each photo (2:1 crop for background, 1:1 for collage). Premium for uploads.

What are Family Announcements?

Messages posted to the whole family. Title + description + optional date/time. All members see them.

What are Individual Reminders in Family Lounge?

A reminder assigned to one specific family member. Only the assigned member and creator see it.

What are Family Bills?

Shared bills with title, amount, due date, optional bill image. Mark as paid once settled. Family members can see and download bill images.

What are Family Tasks?

Shared to-do items with title, assigned member, due date, status (Pending / Done / Complete).

What is Family Document Storage?

Shared document folders with 5 categories: Family Bills, Doctor Prescriptions, Family Test Reports, Child's Academic Reports, Other. Upload PDFs/images, add a description, download, or delete. Premium feature.

What is Family Chat?

A group chat for the family. Members can send messages visible to the whole group.

What are Family GPS Reminders?

Location-triggered reminders shared within the family — e.g., notify when a child leaves school.

6. SIMRAN — YOUR AI ASSISTANT

What is Simran?

Simran is the AI assistant inside the app (floating button bottom-right). Ask her about food nutrition, your daily targets, app features, or general nutrition concepts.

What can Simran do?

Calculate your daily nutrition goals (calories, protein, carbs, fat, 18 nutrients)

Calculate your daily water target

Look up nutritional values of single foods (rice, apple, paneer)

Look up nutritional values of prepared dishes (biryani, dal makhani)

Answer general diet concepts (keto, low-carb, intermittent fasting)

Answer questions about NestMates features

Reply to greetings, thanks, small talk

What can Simran NOT do?

Prescribe a personal diet plan

Give medical advice

Diagnose or treat conditions

Answer questions outside food, nutrition, and NestMates

How do I get my nutrition goals from Simran?

Ask: "My nutrition goals" or "What are my daily nutrition targets". Simran will ask for Gender, Age, Activity, Weight. Reply with all in one message, e.g. "Male, 30, Moderate, 65". Add pregnant or lactating for females.

How do I get my water target from Simran?

Ask: "How much water should I drink" or "Water target". Simran will ask for Gender, Age, Weight, Activity, City. Reply with all in one message, e.g. "Male, 30, 70, Moderate, Delhi".

How do I look up a food?

Ask: "Calories in apple", "Protein in paneer", "Nutrition of banana". Simran returns values from our verified database.

How do I look up a prepared dish?

Ask: "Calories in biryani", "Nutrition of dal makhani", "Paneer butter masala nutrition".

How do I ask for nutrient-rich food lists?

Ask: "Iron rich foods", "Vitamin C rich foods", "High protein snacks", "Low carb meals". Simran gives a globally diverse list of 20+ foods.

What languages does Simran understand?

English, Hindi, Punjabi, and several others. Type in your language — the reply comes back in the same language.

Can Simran share a chat to WhatsApp?

Yes. Tap the green WhatsApp button at the top of the Simran chat to share the conversation.

What is the Reset button?

Clears the chat and starts fresh.

How is Simran restricted?

Nutrition values only come from our verified database — never from the AI's own guesses. Simran does not prescribe diets.

Is Simran premium?

Yes. Simran is available with Individual or Family subscription.

7. SUBSCRIPTION & PRICING

What plans are available?

Individual — ₹399/month + GST or ₹3999/year + GST

Family — ₹599/month + GST or ₹5999/year + GST (up to 4 members)

Extra Family Member — ₹99/month + GST each

What is included in the Individual Plan?

What is included in the Family Plan?

Everything in Individual, plus: Family Lounge (up to 4 members), Family Chat, Family Announcements, Shared Bills & Tasks, Family Document Storage, GPS & Time Reminders for Family.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — 30 days on all plans. No credit card required. Cancel anytime.

How do I subscribe?

Tap Subscribe on SnapCheck or visit nestmates.in/pricing. Choose monthly or yearly. Payment via Razorpay.

What payment methods are supported?

All Razorpay-supported methods — UPI, cards, net banking, wallets.

Do you have a coupon code?

Yes. On the Pricing page, enter your coupon code and tap Apply Coupon. Coupons add extra days to your trial.

How do I upgrade to Family Plan?

In Family Lounge, tap Upgrade. Pay ₹599 + GST. Your plan switches to Family.

How do I know my trial/subscription is active?

SnapCheck shows your status and days remaining.

What happens when my trial ends?

Premium features lock. You can still view your existing data. Subscribe to unlock again.

Are prices inclusive of GST?

No. All prices are exclusive of GST. SAC Code: 998433.

Where can I see what's included in each plan?

8. PRIVACY & DATA

Where is your Privacy Policy?

What data do you collect?

Profile info (name, email, phone, city, area), lifestyle & wellness data (food, water, mood, fitness, test reports), location data (GPS for reminders and family), family data (members, chat, tasks, bills), device info.

Do you sell my data?

No. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising.

Who sees my family data?

Only members of your family group.

What third parties do you use?

OpenAI (AI assistant for food queries), OneSignal (push notifications), Google Places (location search), Razorpay (payments), Google Play Services Location (GPS/geofence).

Can I disable location?

Yes — through your device settings. You can also disable background location specifically.

Can I export my data?

Yes — via CSV downloads on Food, Water, Mood, Fitness, and Test Results logs (premium).

Is NestMates for children?

No — not intended for children under 13.

Where can I read Terms?

9. DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT

How do I delete my NestMates account?

Send an email to [email protected] with:

Subject: Account Deletion Request

Your registered email

Your registered mobile number

We will process the request within 7 working days and send a confirmation once deleted.

What gets deleted?

Profile info (name, email, mobile, city)

Profile picture

All reminders and reminder history

All nutrition logs and food entries

All water intake records

All mood and fitness data

All test reports and health records

Family group associations (removed from family groups)

All GPS location history

What may be retained?

Anonymized usage data for analytics

Transaction records if required by law (for paid subscriptions)

Data retained for legal compliance (as required by Indian law)

How long until it's fully gone?

Account data is permanently deleted within 30 days of your request

Backup copies may take up to 90 days to be completely removed

10. TROUBLESHOOTING

The app says "Profile incomplete".

Complete your profile on SnapCheck — enter city, mobile, and pincode.

My food search returns nothing.

The food may not be in our database. Tap Request Missing Food to send us the name.

My GPS reminder didn't trigger.

Check:

Location permission is granted for NestMates

Background location is enabled

The radius covers the location

The trigger (Enter/Exit) is correct

My OCR results look wrong.

You must manually verify each value against the original report before saving. OCR is not 100% accurate.

I can't log more than 2 foods today.

Free plan limit. Upgrade to Premium.

I can't add more than 1 reminder.

Free plan limit. Upgrade to Premium.

My CSV download failed.

CSV exports are a premium feature. Verify your subscription is active.

I don't see my family group.

Ask the family admin to share the invite link. Open the link and log in — you'll join automatically.

Simran doesn't reply in my language.

Type your message in the language you want — Simran replies in the same language.

Payments aren't reflecting.

If payment succeeded but features are still locked, wait 1–2 minutes or log out and back in. Contact support if it persists.
